I got my daughter a Raggedy Ann and Andy doll for Christmas. Her older brothers are scared of them, ecspecially the girl doll. Is this normal? They swear she’s going to come to life.

I don’t have any kids, but I collect dolls and my younger brother is absolutely terrified of them! He thinks they’re going to possess me and kill him. Especially this clown doll (one of a kind, hand crafted/painted, etc.) named Curly. Whenever he sees her, he screams bloody murder and hides under his bed. He is 14.

My daughter is afraid of clowns.. dolls or live ones and she is 25 years old.. has been petrified of them since she was a baby.. she got a clown jack-in-box for Xmas and it scared the crap out of her.. since then no clowns ever.. she sees one and freaks.. by the way I love Raggedy Ann & Andy.. use to have a colletion of over 30 pairs from 3 to 36 inches tall.. don’t know what happened to them though..moved out and my mother must have gotten rid of them

I bought my daughter a walking Cookie Monster when she was little. She was scared to death of it!

yes, esp. my 17 year old……but I do enjoy sneaking it in his room so he can wake up with it looking at him….I usually hear him awake when he yells "MOM……not again"…..but my younger ones aren’t scared of them, they’re too busy fighting to see who gets to play with them…lol…
